Alan initially studied Sports Science (1983-7) at West London Institute – now part of Brunel and then worked in the Health Club Industry, resulting in managing the Marina Club in Bahrain. In conjunction with this, playing squash played a major role in his life, playing for Richmond Town Squash Club and in the Bundesliga in Germany. In 1989, Alan became Bahrain Open Squash Champion.

Returning to the UK in 1989, he went on to Squash coaching and became a Personal Trainer, leading to an interest in Sports Injuries and rehabilitation and then studying Osteopathy from 1992-96 at the prestigious BSO in London (now the Health Sciences University), where from 1997 until 2009 he was a Clinic Tutor.

Alan now specialises in Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation and works closely with Surrey County Cricket’s First Team.

Alan still participates in regular sports, especially Road cycling and High Altitude Mountaineering, having completed two 24-hour cycling challenges and has climbed Kilimanjaro (6000m) and Aconcagua (7000m) and trekked to the Everest base camp in 2019 (5340m).

Since 2003, Alan has been running the Multi-Disciplinary Clinic at Streatham Osteopaths and running another private clinic at a GP’s surgery in Gloucester Road, Central London.

Practice Manager / Principal Osteopath, Medical Acupuncturist and Functional Movement specialist.

Justin gained his Master’s Degree at The British School of Osteopathy (now Health Sciences University), where he now works as a clinic tutor alongside his practice.  He worked in various clinical settings before coming to Streatham and has treated a huge variety of people, from office and manual workers, amateur athletes, to elite sportspeople, actors and musicians.

Justin is a GOsC registered Osteopath and a qualified Medical Acupuncturist. He is also a movement specialist, having completed a mentorship with the prestigious Gray Institute in the USA, a Fellow of Applied Functional Science (FAFS), and has completed post-graduate courses in the treatment of children and how psychological health impacts physical health.

His special areas of interest include the relief of pain through improved Functional movement, treatment of chronic pain, headaches and sports injuries generally.

From school and in his early 20s, he played competitive Rugby both here and in Hong Kong and was also a keen Rower; he became interested in Osteopathy, having sustained a chronic neck injury following a motorcycle accident.

A daily motorcyclist, he keeps fit with circuit training and running.

Justin works at Streatham Osteopaths on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Asiah Asiah graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (Formerly the BSO) with an Integrated Master’s Degree and is an accredited Level 3 Pilates instructor. Like Justin, she is also a qualified Medical Acupuncturist (Dry Needling).

She has a special interest in Women’s Health, Nutrition and Visceral Osteopathy, and has completed clinical studies in the fields of Sports Injuries and Osteopathy and the Elderly.

She speaks fluent Urdu and Punjabi and has a keen interest in the practice of henna and dance.

Asiah works at Streatham Osteopaths on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, with her Pilates classes being on Monday.

Asiah is also a member of the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy.
